Original hard beats, two new verses on each record and 50 Cent talking at the end of a lot of the songs. Admit it: Sometimes hearing Fif speak at the end of records is just as entertaining as hearing him rap.
"That's when I don't have to be in song format," 50 said last week from his new G-Unit Manhattan office. Yeah, he and his crew packed up from their old 34th Street digs and have a better spot. "I can say exactly what I mean, and people are entertained by that too. That's also a sign that you're a star."

Young Jeezy Brings Out Lil Wayne At Birthday Bash
This year, the city was anticipating two of their hometown bigwigs, Gucci Mane and Young Jeezy. The two rocked the concert last year and, for Gucc, it was almost like a coming-out party — the fans sang along to all his mixtape hits and Mane reestablished himself as being very hot in the streets. Jeezy was actually elevating to the next level of his career — already huge in the 'hood, the Snowman gave the mainstream a wake-up call, bringing out his Grammy Award-winning peers Usher and Kanye West to join him onstage. Young stole the show and was rewarded with the headlining spot at this year's Bash.No dis records — just good music, as both Gucci and Jeezy showed up with big sets. Jeezy did it again, with undoubtedly the biggest surprise and most talked about money moment of the night — bringing out Lil Wayne. The two, who are going out on tour this summer as part of the America's Most Wanted Music Festival, shook hands center stage. Wayne hit the crowd with a nice set-up jab, his verse and chorus to Birdman's "Always Strapped," then ended his mini-set and the show with one of rap's summer anthems, "Every Girl."Shortly before bringing out Wayne, Jeezy introduced Mary J. Blige to the audience. The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul didn't perform, but expressed adulation for the Snowman as she told the crowd that he was "Mr. Birthday Bash." Young started his set with hits such as "Who Dat," "Bottom of the Map," and the always reliable crowd pleaser, "Bi--- Get Your Mind Right."A couple of hours before Jeezy, the duo calling themselves the Birthday Bash Boys had major shine onstage. OJ Da Juiceman warmed the audience with records such as "Washing Powder Money." When the music for "Make the Trap Say Aye," began, the crowd started to stir a bit more — they know who the guest star on the track is: Gucci! As the song stopped on Gucci's part, the Mane himself came out — the fans knew the songs line for line and cheered Gucc on. "Ridiculous," "Freaky Girl" and "Wasted" took the energy up a bit higher, until ultimately Gucc and OJ left. Not to be outdone, Plies was a one-man event during his set. The Florida MC went back and forth between raunchy songs for the ladies and cement-hard records for the fellas. "Plenty Money" popped off big time, as he held two huge stacks of ones in his hand, which he said totaled $50,000 — he then made it rain on the crowd. The Grand Hustle family were early show-stealers, as Young Dro captained a fast-paced, well-received performance that included Yung L.A., guest Maino, and new Grand Hustle family members the Rich Kids. The bill for Birthday Bash was loaded. The show started at 6:00 p.m. and didn't slow down until after Jeezy's set, just shy of 1:00 a.m. Other acts on the roster included Rick Ross, Fabolous, the G.S. Boyz, Trey Songz, Jeremih, Twista, Keri Hilson, Pleasure P and F.L.Y. (who provided another major moment by bringing out hometown legend Pastor Troy), Soulja Boy Tell'em (who performed with former foe and now current ally, Bow Wow), and more. Big Boi and Andre of Outkast were in the crowd, but did not perform. Maybe next year?
GORILLA ZOE

He replaced Young Jeezy as a member of Boyz N Da Hood. He first saw success after his single "Hood Nigga" was released, followed by the backing of Yung Joc on songs including "Coffee Shop" and "Bottle Poppin'," which charted under several Billboard categories [2].
His first solo album, Welcome to the Zoo, was released October 2007, peaking at #18 on the Billboard Top 200, #3 on Top Rap Albums, and #8 on Top R&B Albums. [3]
His second solo album, Don't Feed da Animals, featuring the single "Lost", was released on March 17, 2009.

YOUNG JEEZY & GUCCI MANE BEEFING AGAIN
On Monday night, Young Jeezy leaked a new record, “24-23,” aimed directly at his longtime Atlanta rival Gucci Mane, and Gucci’s newly popular protege, OJ da Juiceman. Ever since, fans on both sides have been staunchly divided, but we can all agree that with Jeezy, Gucci and OJ all booked to perform on the same bill on Friday in North Carolina, and on Saturday at Atlanta’s biggest hip hop concert event, The Birthday Bash. Tension is on high….but you surely can’t tell by Gucci Mane’s mood.Today, he was on set with singer Mario and Sean Garrett shooting a video for their collaboration “Breakin’ Up.” And while Mariah Carey was sending out her “Obsessed” remix featuring Gucci (what the wha!), your girl Info caught up with Mr. La Flare for his reaction to old beefs back on the grill…

Trick Daddy's Top 10 Most Influential Miami ArtistsThe Dunk Ryders boss gives us a rundown of his favorite hometown MCs.

J.T. Money & the Poison ClanInfluential Record: "Dance All Night"Trick's Take: "They were the first group from Miami that everybody rapped. Everyone had skills. They talked from the street hustler's perspective. J.T. was also one of the first to talk about the tension between the tourists and the locals. He talked about the smash-and-grab crime wave that was an epidemic at the time."
Slip-N-Slide All StarsInfluential Record: "Take It to the House" and "Shut Up"Trick's Take: "These were the first people I considered family outside of my real kin. Everyone was very talented. A time machine could have had all of us together and on the same page. With them, I've seen a lot, together we did a lot. Brawls, bras and Parle Thursdays — that sums up the time we spent together."
PitbullInfluential Record: "Go Girl"Trick's Take: "Pit is the realist Chico (Cuban) I've ever met in my life. He's also the first to successfully introduce bilingual rapping. I have no other words to describe him. He's the realist I've seen in my life."
Prince Raheim and Crazy Legs 59Influential Record: "Lose My Money (Honey)"Trick's Take: "They epitomized the Miami bass sound. They helped shape that movement. A lot of their music was booty music. It was crazy in the clubs when their music came on."
Clay DInfluential Record: "Pull It All the Way Down"Trick's Take: "Clay is the original black, greasy and grill'd typical Miami dude. His music was disrespectful and full of bass."
Half PintInfluential Record: "Stomp and Grind"Trick's Take: "Half Pint was also one of the pioneers of the Miami bass/club sound. Because he was also a DJ, he understood how to rock a party."

PETA Attempting To Recruit T.I.

According to DefSounds.com and other reports, Michelle Cho of PETA has reached out to rapper T.I. through a letter that was sent to him at the Forrest City Federal Correctional Institution in Arkansas.
In the letter, Cho asks if T.I. will follow in the steps of Martha Stewart, who was previously incarcerated, and support PETA while he serves his prison sentence.
"…Unlike inmates, who are freed when they finish their sentences, these animals are beaten, have their necks broken, are electrocuted, and are often skinned alive for their fur,” writes Cho. “We hope that you’ll follow Martha’s compassionate example and become involved with our anti-fur efforts."
The organization is hoping that T.I. will help PETA by “baring his skin.”
"We're asking T.I. to use his fame and his experiences to bare the truth about the fur industry by baring his skin," PETA Executive Vice President Tracy Reiman explained.

Exclusive: 50 Cent Talks War Angel LP, Which Drops Next WeekFif tells Mixtape Daily that upcoming tape is 'the best body of work I put out in the mixt

Expect the unexpected. The game moves so quickly, and we're prepared for anything, so you should always look to us to document it. Two Mixtape Daily articles in one day? (Make sure you peep that Fire Starter!) Why not if the content's there?
We were prepping a real ill Behind the Beats to land Friday morning, but everything got put on pause when 50 Cent decided to phone in. The G-Unit General is putting out a project of all-new material called War Angel LP on Tuesday via ThisIs50.com. He says it's more like a street album than a mixtape. Fif -- who's in L.A. right now recording Before I Self Destruct with Timbaland and Polow Da Don — said he's throwing heat rocks all summer long, then dropping his official LP in September (dare we dream he drops the same day as Jay?).
"I'm finnin' to get on the street, you already know what time it is," he said via cell.
The tagline for the project is "Prepare for Total Destruction."
"You know what it is, it's a conflict," Fif described. "The exact opposite. I didn't want to write Angel Demon. It's not the contrast between good and bad. But ... if someone's at war, I'm sure they're saying their prayers. They believe they have angels around them. What would you call an angel around a soldier at war?"
A War Angel, of course.
"That's why I titled it that," he added. "Creatively, this is not even a mixtape. That's why I put LP next to it. ... My core audience will understand it immediately, and it's written specifically for that."
With such a potent title, some people are obviously expecting him to go at his last known enemy: Rick Ross. Fif said that's not the case. He's done with the Miami MC.
"You're gonna see," he promised, before explaining why the beef with Ross is over. "I think if you don't identify when you've won a race, you'll continue to run victory laps until you've exhausted yourself. There's nothing else to win in the Rick Ross situation. There's nothing else to do to that guy from my perspective."
So who will 50 be firing missiles at?
"It's not a specific target, a specific person, I'm writing about," he clarified. "When you hear it, out of all the material I put on the street, you're gonna say that's the best body of work I put out in the mixtape circuit, period. The way the mood of music is right now, when they hear what this is, they'll say, 'That's what we needed.' "
More 50 Cent underground releases will follow in just a few short weeks.
"I have two other tapes to follow it," he revealed. "Fourth of July, Sincerely Southside Part 2 coming out with mostly '90s music on it. Timeless music, classic hit records. Then, after that, there's a G-Unit mixtape. It's actually untitled. I'll be finished with it in the next day or so."

Young Jeezy To Headline Atlanta's Birthday BashRick Ross, Soulja Boy Tell'em, Gucci Mane, Jeremih, Keri Hilson also on the bill for June 20 concert

How can Young Jeezy outdo himself this year? Well, Jeezy has just been announced as the headlining act for one of the biggest hip-hop concerts of the year: Atlanta radio station 107.9's 14th annual Birthday Bash.
Jeezy has the task of closing the concert that also features Rick Ross, Gucci Mane, OJ Da Juiceman, Soulja Boy Tell'em, Yung L.A., Trey Songz, Young Dro, Hurricane Chris, Jeremih, Keri Hilson, F.L.Y., Lil' Will, Pleasure P and Plies. Birthday Bash 14 takes place June 20 at Philips Arena in Atlanta.
At last year's Birthday Bash, Jeezy stole the show, bringing Kanye West and Usher onstage, among others.
"I gave you a show," Jeezy told us backstage after last year's show. "[At the] Birthday Bash two years ago, I brought out Jay-Z. Shout-outs to Hov. It's about topping it. Making people step their game up. Relationships is everything. When you really know people, you tell them, 'Come through, we got Birthday Bash. Be there,' and they there? To me, that means everything. This year I called out Dream, Kanye, Usher, Blood Raw. ... I'm from Atlanta, so they pretty much see you every day. They know you gonna come out, but when you bring those special people out, it just gives it that extra umph. Me, personally, I take pride in Birthday Bash. Birthday Bash 13 was mine, by the way.
"Shout-out to Kanye, he flew all the way in," Jeezy added about West, who had another concert the same night. "I had to throw him a private jet courtesy of Young." Usher flew in last year from Japan.
Jeezy had a huge moment last week at Hot 97's Summer Jam in New Jersey when he brought Jay-Z and Drake onstage for his set

Usher Files For Divorce From Tameka Foster-RaymondThe couple have been married for nearly two years.

Usher filed for divorce Friday from his wife of nearly two years, Tameka Foster-Raymond, according to The Associated Press. The petition, filed at Superior Court in Atlanta, did not give a reason for the split.
The marriage between Usher, 30, and Foster, 38, reportedly has been strained for months now. Sources have said the pair haven't lived under the same roof for quite some time, as Usher has relocated to Nevada to work on his next solo album. Pictures and video of Usher, alongside Jermaine Dupri and others, partying in Las Vegas have appeared online in recent weeks.
A rep for Usher had no comment when contacted by MTV News

DJ Khaled was born in New Orleans, Louisiana.[2][4] He is of Palestinian descent[1] and lives in Miami, Florida.[5] Currently, he hosts the weeknight program TakeOver on Miami-based urban music radio station WEDR with fellow host K. Foxx; Khaled states that he has worked for the station professionally since 2003.[2] In 1998, Khaled worked as a "sidekick" for Miami rapper Luther Campbell for Campbell's Friday night WEDR radio show The Luke Show.[6] In his albums, Khaled usually provides "shoutouts" that assert his representation of "the ghetto" and urges people to listen.[7]
From 2004 to 2006, Khaled produced the hip-hop albums Real Talk by Fabolous, True Story by Terror Squad, All or Nothing by Fat Joe, and Me, Myself, & I by Fat Joe.[8] In June 2006, his debut album Listennn... the Album was released by Koch Records; it premiered on the Billboard 200 chart at #12.[9]
We the Best followed in 2007 with singles "I'm So Hood" with T-Pain, Trick Daddy, Plies, and Rick Ross and "We Takin' Over" with Akon, T.I., Rick Ross, Fat Joe, Birdman, and Lil Wayne. "We Takin' Over" peaked at #28 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #11 on the Hot Rap Tracks chart and was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America on November 20, 2007.[10] Khaled made a guest appearance on the single "100 Million" from Birdman's 2007 album 5 * Stunna; the single also featured Rick Ross, Dre, Young Jeezy and Lil Wayne. That year, Khaled won two Ozone Awards: one for Best Video ("We Takin' Over") and another for Best Radio DJ.[11]
In 2008, Khaled's third album We Global came out with singles "Out Here Grindin" with Akon, Rick Ross, Lil' Boosie, Trick Daddy, Young Jeezy, Ace Hood, and Plies, followed by "Go Hard" featuring Kanye West and T-Pain. RIAA certified the single "I'm So Hood" Platinum on June 4, 2008.[10] That year, Khaled won DJ of the Year awards from the BET Hip Hop Awards and Ozone Awards.[12][13]
Khaled was recently appointed the president of Def Jam South. [14]

gucci mane

In 2005, he released his independent debut album entitled Trap House, which featured the successful single "Icy" with Young Jeezy. However, disputes over the rights to this single eventually caused a riff between the two artists. Hard to Kill followed in 2006.
Gucci Mane was propelled to mainstream success with the release of Back to the Trap House in 2007, which sold 32,000 copies its first week. The album was fueled by the hit single "Freaky Gurl", which peaked at #12 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Rap Tracks.
After ending another prison term, Gucci Mane began working on a mixtape called Writing on Da Wall and "Guccitendo". A new official mixtape "Guccimania" has some of his new 2009 singles featured on the mixtape.[2] Gucci Mane Has Recently Signed A Deal With Warner Bros. Records[3]

Ace Hood
ace hood's album is set to be released june 30th

Ace Hood was born on May 11, 1988 in Port St. Lucie, Florida and raised by his mother in Deerfield Beach, part of Broward County.[2] Following a football injury in the 7th grade and after realizing he wouldn't be able to become professional, the Broward County native began to seriously consider rapping as a career.[2][1] In 2007, he met DJ Khaled outside the offices of WEDR 99 Jamz, a South Florida radio station that mainly plays hip hop and contemporary R&B music. After Ace gave him an autobiography and demo tape, Khaled asked Ace to rap over the instrumental of "I'm So Hood" and later signed Hood to his label, We the Best.[3] Ace was named with several others to the Freshmen of 09 by XXL magazine.[4]
His first album, Gutta, was released in 2008. Singles included "Cash Flow" featuring T-Pain and Rick Ross and "Ride" featuring Trey Songz. Hood also released a mixtape, Ace Won't Fold, and made a guest performance among several rappers on DJ Khaled's single "Out Here Grindin'".[3]
Ace Hood appeared on Wildstyle Radio with Rome and Hoss on WUAG 103.1FM in Greensboro, North Carolina September 7th, 2008 to promote his album Gutta along with DJ Khaled.[5]
Ace Hood along with Akon and T-Pain shot the video for Overtime at Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory School. The music video features the football field with a young girl playing with high school football players. The football players features in the video are actual players from Chaminade Madonna. Lately Ace Hood also signed a deal with Akon's label Konvict Muzik.
